Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: Very large mostly mid-19th century former manor house, today a subdivided very tall hipped roof mansion with multiple tall chimneys, formerly in its own 70 acres of gardens and woodland set out by Lady Ellesmere, today by woodland owned by Surrey County Council. It was a specialist school from 1952 for the disabled before being converted to apartments in the mid 1990s, then refurbished after a partial fire in 2000. The rear façade and various paths were used in Spearheads from Space (1) of Dr Who. Near to Downside (Cobham) and Ockham by paths or roads, its traditional and ecclesiastical parish is Cobham |
