English: Heathland between The Ridge and the Beaulieu Road, New Forest. The Ridge is just what its name indicates, running SE from Lyndhurst alongside the Beaulieu Road. A medieval earthwork runs along its length, once defining the northern boundary of the Old Lyndhurst Deer Park (or "Park Pale"). |
