Summary[edit]

Description

Family: Malvaceae Distribution: Common on moist shady places of troical S.E.Asia and Africa. Erect herbs, 0.7 mts tall, Leaves 3-5 lobed or entire, serrate, cordate at base, petioles 3-8 cm long.

Flower white, axilary in 4-6 flowered racemes. Capsule 1 cm broad, ovoid, pointed at apex, 5 valved, crispately hairy, seeds black, minutely tubercled.
