Summary[edit]

Description This is a Holitsch faience stand which originated from the Holitsch factory in Northern Slovakia. The factory was first founded by Francis of Lorraine in 1743. It developed a distinctive style of floral painting in its creations. This object is today part of the collection of the Koerner European Ceramic Gallery of the UBC Museum of Anthropology in Vancouver, Canada. Its museum catalogue number is Ch168.
