Description
English: Home Guard memorial at Bretforton This is the base of a WW2 spigot mortar (an anti-tank weapon supplied to the Home Guard). The inscription on the memorial which stands near the crossroads on Stoneford Lane reads "Gun mounting erected for the Home Guard in defence of our village 1939-1945".
