Description
Deutsch: Hubschraubermuseum Bückeburg; Professor Georg Wellner; Mähren (CSR) 1893; Die "Segelrad-Flugmaschine" von Professor Georg Wellner aus Brünn in Mähren, deren grundsätzliche Tauglichkeit seiner Erfindung er am Modell bereits 1893 experimentell beweisen konnte, wenn es auch niemals zum Bau eines deratigen Fluggerätes kommen sollte.
Beim Wellner'schen Segelrad waren die auf einem Zylindermantel waagerecht angeordneten einzelnen Flächenlamellen (Traglamellen) je nach ihrer Rotationslage verstellbar und erzeugten sowohl Antriebs- als auch Vortriebskräfte.
