Description
English: Principle of the IDsec protocol, allowing a personalized content provider on the internet to access user profile info based on arbitrary credentials and access tokens:
  • A: Profile requester (content provider);
  • B: Profile manager;
  • C: Profile owner (end user).
  1. The profile owner logins with the profile manager;
  2. The profile manager provides the profile owner with a session certificate;
  3. The profile owner forwards the session certificate to the profile requester;
  4. The profile requester sends the session certificate to the profile manager, along with its credentials (showing that it verifies some predefined condition) and a request to access user profile;
  5. The profile manager, upon verification of the credentials and of the session certificate, gives access to the user profile;
  6. The profile requester generates the personalized content and sends it to the profile owner.
Français : Principe du protocole IDsec, permettant à un fournisseur de contenu personnalisé sur internet d'accéder à un profil utilisateur sur la base de créances arbitraires et de jetons d'accès :
  • A: Demandeur du profil (fournisseur de contenu) ;
  • B: Gestionnaire du profil ;
  • C: Propriétaire du profil (utilisateur final).
  1. Le propriétaire du profil s'authentifie auprès du gestionnaire de profil ;
  2. Le gestionnaire du profil fournit un certificat de session au propriétaire du profil ;
  3. Le propriétaire du profil transmet le certificat de session au demandeur du profil ;
  4. Le demandeur du profil envoie au gestionnaire du profil le certificat de session, ses créances (montrant qu'il vérifie une condition prédéterminée) et une demande d'accès au profil ;
  5. Le gestionnaire de profil, après vérification des créances et du certificat de session, donne accès au profil ;
  6. Le demandeur du profil génère le contenu personnalisé et l'envoie au propriétaire du profil.
