| Description |
Another shot of a mate's garden, just round the corner from this one. This is a single exposure HDR, tonemapped using my modified version of pfstools' Mantiuk tone mapping, and a blend between contrast scaling of 0.1 and contrast equalization of 2.0, with proper convergence. The bottom right is contrast equalized, which I felt showed off the red roses better (apart from a thin sliver down the right hand side where I didn't blend the two versions properly; woops). I feel this is much more what I was looking at when I took the photo, but before I did the HDR treatment on it I couldn't get the detail in the sky and in the shadows in the plant boarder at the same time. Is this over done, or does it work? It's supposed to be a realistic HDR; is it? Comments, criticisms and corrections very welcome! |
