English: Seventh Street Savings Bank (1300 7th Street, NW) and the Immaculate Conception Church (1315 8th Street, NW) located in the Shaw neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The Classical Revival bank was designed by the architectural firm Rich and Fitzsimons in 1912. The Gothic Revival church was designed by Edward Clements in 1870. Both buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and are contributing properties to the Mount Vernon West Historic District. |
