Description
English: Max Immelmann's Fokker E.II (most likely E.II 37/15) as photographed on October 26th 1915 following Immelmann's fifth victory, clearly showing the metal soffit surface (one of two) along the fuselage structure's upper longeron front end, required to accommodate the larger diameter Oberursel U.I nine-cylinder rotary engine and larger diameter cowl .
