Summary[edit]

Description
English: James Watt Dock. Viewed from National Cycle Route 75 on the former Kilmacolm-Princes Pier railway line behind Gibshill. The view is ample reward for the long slog up the hill by bike from the main A8 road.

The overhead power lines of the Glasgow-Gourock railway and the Sinclair Street bridge 419864 are in the foreground. Cappielow Park 40608, home of Greenock Morton is just beyond the railway line.

The old sugar warehouses 621271 are just visible to the right. PS Waverley 839538 is in the centre, with MV Jupiter 371375 to her left.

The hammerhead crane 621223 is the most prominent feature of the photo.

The grey sheds are at Garvel Dock 839789 where a yellow tanker truck appears to be making a delivery.

The small Naval craft to the top right is one of a pair on manoeuvres just off Rosneath Peninsula.
