DescriptionJohannFriedrichReichardtMusikerS130.jpg | Johann Friedrich Reichardt(1752-1814) Musiker Stich von Riedel nach Anton Graff. Komponist und Musikschriftsteller, Schöpfer des deutschen Liederspieles und als Liedkomponist von großer Bedeutung. 1775 erhielt er die SDTelle des Königlichen Kapellmeisters am Hofe Friedrich des Großen. 1789 zu einer Reise nach Italienbeurlaubt, suchte er Goethe in Weimar auf und legte ihm die soeben vollendete Komposition seines Singspiels "Claudine von Villa Bella" und viele Vertonungen seiner Lieder vor. Goethe, von Kayser enttäuscht, glaubte in Reichardt endlich den langgesuchten musikalischen Weggenossen gefunden zu haben. In den folgenden Jahren entwickelte sich ein freundschaftliches Verhältnis zwischen Dichter und Komponisten, der Goethes Lieder zuerst mit seinen Weisen in die Welt hinaustrug. Durch Reichardts politische Betätigung und seine Äußerungen im Sinne der Französischen Revolution erfuhren die Beziehungen zu Goethe eine Abkühlung, die endlich zum völligen Bruch führte. Erst nach Goethes Krankheit (1801) kam es zu einer Aussöhnung, doch gelang es Reichardt nicht, die Stellung eines musikalischen Ratgebers und Vertrauten wiederzugewinnen. |
