| Description |
English: Junction of Threadneedle Street and Bishopsgate, London EC2. We are looking across the junction towards the site where the Standard Chartered Bank headquarters at 38 Bishopsgate used to be situated. The building, along with other nearby buildings, has been demolished and the tallest building in London nicknamed "The Shard" is going to be built there. A far cry from when the 38 Bishopsgate building was constructed and was not permitted to accommodate more people that had been accommodated in the previous buildings on the site.
