Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Kanuti River winds through banks of golden trees in autumn on the Kanuti National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska. This image contains a good example of an oxbow lake, created when a meander is cut off by a new, shorter channel, leaving a u-shaped lake.
