Deutsch: Kürschnerei: Ein- oder Auslassen im Treppenschnitt. Bei gelocktem Material wendet man oftmals besser keine geraden Schnitte zum Ein- oder Auslassen an. Der Treppenschnitt ermöglicht eine Verschiebung von 8 bis 10 cm, bei größeren Rückungen wird die seitliche Fellverschiebung zu groß und das Fell verliert seinen Charakter.
Anstelle des Treppenschnitts kann auch mit einer Zackenschablone ausgelassen werden, um die gerade Naht zu vermeiden (besonders bei Fohlen und Kalb). Je kürzer das Haar, desto kleiner die Zacke.
