Description
Deutsch: Schautafel Karte Park am Gleisdreieck. Der Park am Gleisdreieck ist eine öffentliche Grün- und Erholungsanlage in Berlin-Kreuzberg und Berlin-Schöneberg. Der rund 31,5 Hektar umfassende Park liegt auf dem ehemaligen Gelände des Gleisdreiecks und entstand auf den Bahnbrachen des Anhalter und Potsdamer Güterbahnhofs. Die Trasse der Nord-Süd-Fernbahn teilt die Grünanlage in den Ostpark und den Westpark. Der Ostpark wurde am 2. September 2011, der Westpark am 31. Mai 2013 eröffnet. In südlicher Fortsetzung des Westparks wurde am 21. März 2014 der dritte Parkteil, der Flaschenhals oder Flaschenhalspark, der Öffentlichkeit übergeben.
English: Information board/map Park am Gleisdreieck. The Park am Gleisdreieck is a public park in Berlin-Kreuzberg and Berlin-Schöneberg in Germany. The about 31,5 hectare park is situated on the area of the former Gleisdreieck and was built on the wasteland of the Anhalter goods station and Potsdamer goods station. The route of the Berlin North–South mainline divides the green space into the Ostpark and the Westpark. The Ostpark was opened on September 2, 2011, the Westpark on May 31, 2013. On March 21, 2014, there was opened a third part, the Flaschenhals or Flaschenhalspark.
