Description
English: Keeill / near Santon Gorge. A Keeill is an early christian chapel predating 12th century parochial system.

Usually built by individuals independent of the monasteries, who often lived a hermit like existence, although they did give religious guidance to the local population.

They date from the 8th to the 12th centuries.
