English: Ciudad Insurgentes "the eighth wonder of the world"


cd. insurgents was founded September 27, 1955, which is why each NOS is celebrating its foundation, and cto inaugural coronation of Queen, artistic and cultural program, folk dance, sports, rides and fireworks, recreational, industrial exposure , cultural, commercial, agricultural, livestock, local produce, crafts and gastronomic. cd. insurgents is a small but high population. Español: Cd. Insurgentes “la octava maravilla del mundo”


cd. insurgentes se fundó el 27 de septiembre de 1955, por ese motivo cada ños se celebra su fundación con, cto inaugural y coronación de la reina, programa artístico y cultural, baile popular, encuentros deportivos, juegos mecánicos y pirotécnicos, actividades recreativas, exposición industrial, cultural, comercial, agrícola, ganadera, de productos regionales, artesanales y gastronómicas. cd. insurgentes es una ciudad pequeña pero de gran poblacion. Esta situado la Carretera Transpeninsular Benito Juárez, a 211 kilómetros al norte de La Paz y a 147 Km. al suroeste de Loreto en el llamado "Corazón Agrícola" del Valle de Santo Domingo. El clima que predomina se divide en dos subtipos del grupo BW, que agrupa las zonas secas y áridas. Las principales lluvias llegan en verano (tormentas, huracanes etc.) y el frio en invierno . la flora, en estas regiones es predominante la vegetación desertica, hay dos tipos: matorral crasicaule (cardones, nopaleras, viznagas, choyas, palo adán, pitahaya, gobernadora y garambullo). La fauna, predominante, en llanuras desérticas: la chacuaca, codorniz, conejo, liebre y coyote. 

La cultura es todo lo que nos rodea, en insurgentes hay muchos ejemplos como: ARTESANIAS tejidos de palma, trabajos de concha, coral negro y carey: trabajos de cuero,  (se confeccionan mononturas, bolsas, cintos y zapatos) trabajos con plumas, tallado en madera en  palo fierro, cuchillos con mango carey y vitrales. Y muchos otros ejemplos.

Principales trabajos: con una población dedicada ampliamente a la Agricultura y la ganadería y en menor escala al comercio. En el deporte, La infraestructura en Cd. Constitución, Cd. Insurgentes, San Carlos y Adolfo Lopez mateos es la más completa del municipio. De esta, destaca la Unidad deportiva y los estadios de beisbol “Rodolfo ‘Fito’ Montaño”, “Roberto ‘camarón’ Lopez”, “Antonio Vazquez Rubio”, un Gimnasio Auditorio, canchas de frontón y de basquet bol, campos deportivos en colonias urbanas y en las comunidades, adicionalmente se dispone de los espacios de los centros educativos y de la Unidad Militar. Lugares turísticos y culturales cercanos La zona norte del municipio es rica en monumentos históricos arquitectónicos catalogados por el INAH. Lamentablemente de la misión de la Purísima Concepción no quedan ni sus ruinas ya que fue construida de adobe. De las misiones permanecen en buenas condiciones San José de Comondú y San Luis Gonzaga. En la zona de Bahía Magdalena también se localizan importantes monumentos como la base naval de Puerto Cortés y restos de los asentamientos horchilleros. Religión, Al año 2000, de acuerdo al citado Censo efectuado por el INEGI, la población de 5 años y más que es católica asciende a 50,279 habitantes, mientras que los no católicos en el mismo rango de edades suman 4,813 personas. Gastronomía, Machaca de Langosta, de Mantarraya y de Marlin; Mariscos y Albóndigas de Pescado, Cabrito de Leche, Empanadas de Carne, Comida Típica Mexicana (Pozole, menudo, Barbacoa, Antojitos, etc.) y Queso Regional. Dulces Dulces de Leche, Guayabate, Dulces en Almíbar y Piloncillo. Bebidas Champurrado, Café de Grano, Vino de Uva, licor de damiana y mezcal de dátil. Trajes típicos, Trajes Típicos El traje de la Flor de Pitahaya y la Cuera son los principales trajes típicos.
