| Description |
English: Landing place, Sunadal The eastern landing on Boreray. Once established on the rocks, scrambling and moderate rock climbing (horrid rock) is required to reach the guano beneath the gannetry. Loose rock, both when climbing and possibly dislodged from the gannetry is a hazard and you need to get out on to the lung bursting climb up the grass as quickly as possible. The guano ramp is of course a disgusting place, and objective dangers are not the main motive for moving fast.
Descent is by a very mucky abseil. |
