Étai de toiture du temple de Pashupatinath dédié à Shiva sous la forme archaïque de Pashupati

Selon l'article de Wikipedia, Pashupati (पशुपति) désigne Shiva sous la forme du "Maître des créatures" ou du "Maître du troupeau". fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pashupati

Ce temple a été initialement construit en 1475 (ou 1482) sous le règne du roi Yaksha Malla. C'est le plus ancien bâtiment de la place. Les sculptures des étais de la toiture comportent des scènes du culte tantrique.
