| Description |
English: Leat heading into the Glazing House, Oare Gunpowder Works The leat is a transporting canal within the Gunpowder Works. The gunpowder granules were transported in little punts, taken into the building to be 'tumbled' in glazing drums to give them a polish, and increase their resistance to moisture. The blast wall at the back can be seen. |
