Description

This has been identified as the lobby of the Hotel San Diego. People are milling about prior to entering a banquet room where the Inpot Awards were presented.

That's me (Alan Light) in the white shirt, top left, standing next to Terry Beatty. And there's animator Chuck Jones in the bow tie, middle right. Near Jones is Hank Ketcham (white hair, dark blue blaser, with his back to the camera). John Byrne in upper left.

The Hotel San Diego was demolished on April 15, 2006. Workers drilled 900 holes and stuffed them with explosives, and imploded the hotel. It had been built in 1914.
