English: Local vendor performing toy-dancing tricks, Alappuzha, Kerala. This is a video shot near boat jetty, Alappuzha canal, Kerala on 23 December 2013 at 4:41 AM. The vendor was performing tricks with plastic toys. In such tricks the toys are attached with fine threads to a small piece of something similar to wood putty stuck on a wall. The vendor here was holding the other ends of the thread to make them dance. Below the blue plastic sheet there is a magnet that makes the toys (which also have magnets) to remain attached to the base. This adds more of human-like movement to the toys.
