| Description |
English: Loch Ness from Upper Lenie. Looking south across Loch Ness from Upper Lenie, with the Monadhliath Mountains in the distance. This is the stretch of Loch Ness where John Cobb lost his life in 1952, travelling left to right, close in to the near shore, when his jet boat crashed at high speed. The engine still lies at the bottom of the loch, just off Acnahanet. The wreck has recently been located using an ROV. |
