| Description |
English: Long gone This is the site of the former Avonbank villa built around 1866 beside the river in Stratford upon Avon by brewer Charles Flower. It lasted at least until the 1960s but appears to have been empty before its demolition. Now the area is green space enjoyed by tourists and locals so at least some good came of its destruction. All that is left is the stone balustrade visible in the mid background among the trees. |
