English: Longney Crib on the river Severn. Longney Crib is a narrow section of the river Severn. The tidal bore after its journey around the magnificent horseshoe bend at Newnham now starts to get squeezed. The photo is looking south towards the crib. The tide is receding leaving large areas of sand and mud. |
