Summary[edit]
Lynfield Ott in his Woodstock studio in 1964, the year he and his wife Phyllis heard of Meher Baba from Tom and Yvonne Riley. The figure in the background is of Phyllis Ott, painted by Lyn in 1963 or 1964. It was part of a 1965 exhibition at Lovisco Gallery in New York City. The flowers in the painting are actual plastic flowers inserted into the painting. All the paintings in the show were vertical and stood 9' high. They included "The Red Highheels" (with actual red highheels on a platform at floor level) and "The Secret" (with a locked box at the lower platform containing a hidden gold necklace). All paintings in the show were sold.
