Summary[edit]

Description
English: Just picked up my new FN SCAR 17s in 7.62x51 NATO (black, lower) and set it next to my FN SCAR 16s in 5.56x45 NATO (upper, in three shades of FDE). The buttstocks are experimental units, with a standard Mapgul MOE on Mama Bear and a hydraulic recoil absorbing stock on Papa Bear. The hydraulic stock was designed for 12 gauge shotguns, but I am eager to see what effect it has in taming the mighty 7.62 NATO cartridge. I will know in a week.
