Description Map of Russia with merged subjects (01.03.2008, last merger Chita Oblast+Agin-Buryat Autonomous Okrug to form Zabaykalsky Krai.)
  • The subjects are grouped and tagged with their respective ISO 3166-2:RU codes (Zabaykalsky Krai tagged as Zabaykalsky until it has been asigned an ISO code) for easy creation of derivative maps.
  • The subjects are also tagged by type (i.e. republic, oblast etc.)
  • There is also a layer for the different Federal districts (seen as thicker line on map)
  • There is also a separate path for the whole country outline
