Русский: На этой подробной карте, составленной в 1802 году голландским офицером и изданной известной амстердамской картографической издательской фирмой "Ковенс и Мортье", изображена голландская колония Бербиче начала XIX века. Колония Бербиче, расположенная вдоль реки Бербиче на территории современной Гайаны, была основана в 1627 году под управлением Голландской Вест-Индской компании. На карте-врезке в верхнем левом углу, ориентированной таким образом, что север находится внизу, показано местоположение Бербиче относительно Суринама, большей по размеру колонии. Нидерланды - Колонии Français : Cette carte détaillée de 1802, dessinée par un officier de l'armée néerlandaise et publiée par l'éminente maison d'édition cartographique d'Amsterdam Covens et Mortier, montre la colonie néerlandaise de Berbice, telle qu'elle était au début du XIXe siècle. Située le long du fleuve Berbice au Guyana actuel, Berbice fut établie en 1627 sous l'autorité de la Compagnie néerlandaise des Indes occidentales. Le cartouche en haut à gauche, orienté avec le nord en bas, montre Berbice par rapport à la colonie plus grande du Suriname. La carte principale est orientée avec le nord en bas à droite. Les noms des grandes plantations sont indiqués, et les terres agricoles sont représentées par des parcelles numérotées rectangulaires, situées principalement le long de la rivière et du bord de mer. Pays-Bas--Colonies English: This detailed 1802 map, drawn by a Dutch military officer and issued by the distinguished Amsterdam cartographic publishing firm of Covens and Mortier, shows the Dutch colony of Berbice as it appeared at the beginning of the 19th century. Located along the Berbice River in present-day Guyana, Berbice was established in 1627 under the authority of the Dutch West India Company. The inset map in the upper left, oriented with north at the bottom, shows Berbice in relation to Suriname, its larger sister colony. The main map is oriented with north to the lower right. The names of the major plantations are given, with agricultural land indicated by the numbered, rectangular plots, which are located mainly along the river and the seacoast. Colors are used to show the different crops under cultivation, which include wood, coffee, sugar, cotton, and cacao. Also shown are savannas, post roads, Indian footpaths, a projected canal, Indian dwellings, forts, and the small settlement of New Amsterdam at the mouth of the Berbice River. In 1815, at the conclusion of the Napoleonic Wars, ownership of the colony passed to the British, who merged it with the neighboring colony of British Guiana (present-day Guyana).

Localizada ao longo do Rio Berbice na atual Guiana, Barbice foi estabelecida em 1627 sob a autoridade da Companhia Holandesa das Índias Ocidentais. O mapa interno na parte superior esquerda, orientado com o norte na parte de baixo, mostra Berbice em relação ao Suriname, sua colônia irmã maior. O mapa principal está orientado com o norte na parte inferior à direita. Os nomes das principais plantações são dados, com a área para agricultura indicada pelas plantações retangulares numeradas, as quais estão localizadas principalmente ao longo do rio e do litoral.
