  • Significance: The Masonic Temple, Lodge F. & A.M. No. 41 of the Society of Free Masons, located at 215 N. Main St., Gainesville, Florida, was designed by architect J.H.W. Hawkins of Jacksonville, Florida, and constructed by the Eddins Manufacturing Company in 1908. This structure with its symmetrical facades, raised columned portico entry, arched windows, and decorative metal cornice, is a fine example of Neo-Classical architecture. The building is occupied by the Masonic Order.
