| Description |
English: Metrobus 371 (Y371 HMY), a Dennis Dart SLF/Caetano Nimbus, in Carfax, Horsham, West Sussex, on route 65. In September 2009 it was announced that Metrobus would be buying the operations of Arriva Guildford & West Surrey's Horsham depot. Metrobus took over on 3 October 2009, and this photograph was taken on the first day of Metrobus operations, Metrobus having started new route 65. Arriva route 63 (Guildford to Horsham via Cranleigh) was run from Arriva's depot in Cranleigh, and so was not included as part of the sale. Previously, route 63 arrived in Horsham, and then ran around Oakhill Estate and back to town. Because Metrobus were taking over all of the town services, this arrangement was stopped. Arriva route 63 was amended to run onto the railway station and hospital instead, and Oakhill Estate became served by new Metrobus route 65. |
