English : description of the Mie plasmon model, displaying Mie scattering. A molecule is globally neutrally charged ; it then absorbs a photon (γ), thus disturbing its neutrality ; electrons (red) and nucleus (blue) fields consequently attract each other ; this accelerated motion scatters a photon, according to Larmor. Français : description du modèle du plasmon de Mie, qui présente la diffusion de Mie. Une molécule est globalement de charge neutre ; elle absorbe un photon (γ), qui perturbe sa neutralité ; les champs électronique (rouge) et du noyau (bleu) s'attirent alors mutuellement ; ce mouvement accéléré diffuse un photon, d'après la formule de Larmor.
