Description
English: Monument Valley, Arizona. The 3 buttes lie in Arizona, adjacent the Arizona-Utah border. Merrick Butte is at right-(south). The en:West and East Mitten Buttes, (distance between, 1.5 miles (2 km)), are to left-(north).
The (vertical)-De Chelly Sandstone, upon ‘skirts’ of Organ Rock Formation.
Deutsch: Monument Valley, Arizona, Vereinigte Staaten. Die drei Spitzkuppen liegen in Arizona, nahe der Arizona-Utah-Grenze. Merrick's Butte ist zur Rechten (Süden). West Mitten Butte und East Mitten Butte (Abstand ca. 2 km) zur Linken (Norden). Der senkrechte De Chelly Sandstone über dem Rand der Organ Rock Formation
