Description
English: Post card where the statue of sailor Christopher Columbus (on the front) and the "Plaza Colón" can be appreciated. The monument was a gift from the Italian community of Argentina in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the May Revolution. The statue was sculpted in Carrara marble by Italian sculptor Arnaldo Zocchi (1862–1940) and inaugurated in 1921.

Se ve la Plaza Colón, en cuyo centro se erige el monumento al navegante Cristóbal Colón, obsequio de la colectividad italiana a la Argentina en conmemoración al Centenario de la Revolución de Mayo, obra realizada en mármol de Carrara por el escultor italiano Arnaldo Zocchi (1862–1940), e inaugurada recién en el año 1921.
