Description
Nederlands: Jacob Cornelis Overvoorde (Rotterdam 19 december 1865-Wassenaar 8 maart 1930), rechtskundig ambtenaar bij het Utrechts archief (1890-92), archivaris van Dordrecht (1892-1901) en van Leiden (1901-1930) Hij was in Dordrecht mede-oprichter van de Vereniging Oud-Dordrecht, en in Leiden directeur van het Stedelijk Museum De Lakenhal. Landelijk bekende voorvechter van in stand houden van oude gebouwen. Gevelsteen aan Regionaal Archief, Boisotkade 2a Leiden, in 2002 aangeboden door de vereniging Oud leiden bij haar 100-jarig bestaan.
