Summary[edit]

Description
English: Museum of Scotland. The extension on the corner of Chambers Street. The stone was quarried in Clashach Quarry near Hopeman, Morayshire. It's Permo-Triassic and has yielded some important fossils including hundreds of reptile tracks preserved in the sand. Thanks to Anne Burgess for the info on the building stone.
