English: 1845 Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery[1] - Historical Landmark, "Pook Pangkasaysayang Libingan sa Ilalim ng Lupa ng Nagcarlan", Laguna [2] ([3] Nagcarlan Town Proper - Coordinates: 14°8'3"N 121°25'1"E - a second class municipality in the province of Laguna[4], Philippines, latest census, it has a population of 59,726, its coordinates are N14°07.93' E121°24.93' at 229.0 meters above sealevel, politically subdivided into 52 barangays.) - (has underground tombs, a graveyard 15 feet below the church, a secret meeting place of Filipino patriots, with Archway leading to the underground crypt and Chapel, the Nagcarlan Underground Church Marker and Crypt Marker, of Spanish Colonial Architecture; built in 1845 by Franciscan priest, Father Vicente Belloc and declared as a National Historical Landmark in 1973 [5] [6] 163-year-old cemetery, [7] [8] [9] Coordinates: 14°6'30"N 121°26'6"E [10]). |
