Description

The City Nesher on Mount Carmel Nesher is a city in the Haifa District in Israel.

נשר היא עיר במפרץ חיפה בגבול עמק זבולון והכרמל, כ-6 קילומטרים דרומית-מזרחית לחיפה. היא ממוקמת על כביש 752, בסמוך לכביש 75, ושייכת למחוז חיפה. ראשיתה בשכונת פועלים קטנה שנוסדה ב-1924 כמגורים לפועלי בית החרושת נשר שאך זה הוקם, "נשר צמנט פורטלנד" בשנת 1924‏‏[1] ‏‏[2].

בסיס הצבא לאחר שפונה בשנת 2009. במקור בסיס של הצבא הבריטי עד לפינויו ב1948. נמצא מצפון לכביש 752 על גבול השכונות תל חנן ומרכז נשר
