English: New bungalow at Ballaneddin Farm, and Cashtal Lajer ringfort. A photo taken from the old railway line between Ballaugh and Sulby, opposite Ballaneddin Farm, which is hidden by the trees. To the right is the new bungalow, and at the top on the skyline is Cashtal Lajer (Strong Castle) a ringfort of c.4-7thC, shown on the OS maps as 'Fort' or more recently 'Round House'. |
