Description
Deutsch: Von einem nicht mehr vollständig erhaltenen Nikolaus-Flügelaltar aus der Zeit um 1485, befinden sich an der Nordwand des Chores in der Kirche St. Mariae in Mühlhausen - Thüringen, die zwei restlichen Seitentafeln, auf denen zwölf Szenen aus dem Leben des Heiligen dargestellt werden. Hier eine Szene mit dem Kornwunder. Der Heilige bittet während einer Hungersnot bei der Entladung von für den Kaiser bestimmtem Getreide im Hafen um Getreide für Hungernde. Man erfüllt die Bitte und gibt etwas ab, die Getreidemenge auf dem Schiff vermindert sich dadurch aber nicht.
