English: The FeMo cluster from Azotobacter vinelandii nitrogenase. Image created with Accelrys DS Visualizer from PDB file 1M1N. Some atoms labelled on figure; bound to molybdenum is a molecule of R-homocitrate. X is thought to be nitrogen, oxygen or carbon, with the latest (2011) studies pointing to carbon as the most likely candidate.
Português: O centro FeMo da nitrogenase de Azotobacter vinelandii. Imagem criada com o Accelrys DS Visualizer, a partir do ficheiro PDB 1M1N. Alguns átomos indicados na figura; ligado ao molibdénio encontra-se uma molécula de R-homocitrato. Pensa-se que X é um carbono, azoto ou oxigénio; de acordo com estudos publicados em 2011, carbono é o candidato mais provável.
