English: Northumberland Coast Path approaching A.1068 The long distance footpath, is compelled to make a diversion in order to cross over the mouth of the River Aln. Unofficially, the more adventurous and headstrong can wade across the river and very low tide to gain access to Alnmouth - this saves well over a mile, but one would probably loose boots and socks in the process. |
