Description Karikatur auf den Sprachenstreit in Böhmen. Der Prager Gemeinderat beschloss am 11. November 1891, die deutschen Firmenschilder und Straßennamen zu entfernen, um den tschechischen Charakter der Stadt zu unterstreichen. – Als Kämpfer für die deutschen Straßennamen zeigt die Karikatur einen Juden (rechts) auf dem Pferd „Kasino“. Sogar der Kopf des Pferdes ist „jüdisch“; die Schabracke trägt einen Davidstern. Die Tschechen setzten Judentum und Deutschtum gleich. Im Hintergrund der Aussichtsturm Petřín.
