Description
Deutsch: Bienenhaus um 1898 in Obermillstatt, einem Dorf in der Gemeinde Millstatt am Millstätter Berg (Hochplateau) über dem Millstättersee in Kärnten / Österreich / Europäische Union. Blick Richtung Norden. Das Bienenhaus gehörte zur Tischlerei Brunner (später Gruber). Die einzelnen Bienenstöcke weisen keine Motivmalerei auf, sondern sind nur mit Ziffern bezeichnet. Links der alte Tischler Georg Brunner (1841-16.04.1899) im Alter von ca. 59 Jahren, rechts sein Schwiegersohn Vinzenz Gruber (1870-1955) im Alter von ca. 38 Jahren. Beide rauchen Pfeife. Im Hintergrund das Wohnhaus, das um 1875 erbaut wurde. Die Vegetation lässt vermuten, dass die Aufnahme im Sommer erfolgt.
English: Beehive about 1898 in Obermillstatt near Millstatt (Millstätter See), district Spittal an der Drau in Carinthia / Austria / EU. View towards the north. The house belonged to the carpenter bees Brunner (later Gruber). The individual hives have no motive painting, but are marked only with numbers. On the left side the old carpenter aged about 59 years, right around his son-in-law in the age of 38 years. They both smoke a pipe. In the background the house. The vegetation suggests that the picture was taken in the summer.
