| Description |
English: Old sluice for the goit, Kirkstall. The stone piers mark the entrance to the goit 164589 where water flows into it just above the weir 164580. The path across the goit is on a substantial stone wall, with a small sluice gate in it. This wall was probably not there in the past, as old photos show more water in the goit than would be possible now. |
