Summary[edit]

Description
English: On Grizedale Pike. The southern ridge, looking across to Grasmoor. This is slate country, no big clean crags but very easy walking as the rock forms good paths under walking pressure, not the eroded horrors elsewhere. The small peak is interesting as the OS wiped it off their 1:50000 maps recently, replacing it with a mess of purple lines supposedly giving access information. As if we never went anywhere outwith the purple. Sadly some years later, and after much lobbying of the OS, the ridge is still not shown effectively on the 1:50000 map. The purple is softer, its a lovely colour but please give us our contours back!
