English: Original swing bridge ramp, Aberchalder The present-day A82 was built in the 1930s. The map shows that the road originally swung further north than the present line, crossing the River Oich by the old bridge, and then returning to cross the canal by a smaller capacity swing bridge, beside which the modern bridge was built. |
