Description KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLA. -- A male Osprey perches atop a stanchion near the Kennedy Space Center News Center, in the Launch Complex 39 area. The bird is one of more than 500 species of birds that co-exist at the Center and the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.
