Summary[edit]

Description
English: Paddling pool, Victoria Park The paddling pool was the gift of Alderman Salt in 1933; its construction provided work for unemployed men. Many councils are closing their paddling pools, claiming that they are too expensive to run and are health & safety nightmares. The popularity of this upgraded pool shows how wrong they are.
